And as you said, she may not have thought anything out of the ordinary to be summoned. I think it's also possible that she may have been able to talk to David in a way that might have turned him from his course if she was familiar with being around him. It's more likely she was afraid to say no.

And we do know that he was a good looking fella....*grin* It might have been really hard for her to resist....just saying...Belindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13077173669350770709noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8619960360822780022.post-60130113991765585572015-08-05T11:30:19.182-04:002015-08-05T11:30:19.182-04:00I'm of the exact same opinion as you when it c...I'm of the exact same opinion as you when it comes to Bathsheba's participation. I've always thought of her as an unwilling participant, compelled by a powerful king. And afterwards, when she became his wife, what choice did she have, pregnant, and her husband dead. Anyone who could count would have known that she became pregnant while her husband was away. She was left with a whole pile of really bad options.Cathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15392533321876710743noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8619960360822780022.post-22337293597501695592015-08-05T06:42:16.477-04:002015-08-05T06:42:16.477-04:00Great story and great job explaining it ! Such a very curious narrative! David was a man after God's own heart, and yet he sinned greatly....? Hugs, Caro xxCATachresishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10227422179439047735noreply@blogger.com
