We are not fond of giving over control to someone else. And what might He want us to do, say, be, if we do give over to Him?

I asked a friend of mine once why he didn't go to church. His answer was, "I don't need someone else telling me right from wrong." We can't have the Saviour without the Lord, and we can't have the Lord without the Saviour. Our salvation is a one time thing... once it is accomplished, it can't be, nor need it be repeated. But our living and learning and obeying after that salvation, in obedience to our Lord is an ongoing, day by day, moment by moment, second by second thing. And it should be a visible obedience, not so people can look at us and think we are great, but so people can see the fruits of the Spirit and see the Lord working through us, and hopefully wish too seek Him.Cathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15392533321876710743noreply@blogger.com
