Prayer requests

It's our privilege again this week to share our prayer requests, and to go before the Lord and "bear each other's burdens."

As we pray, what kind of attitude do we have? Do we have the faith of a child, trusting in our Father to do as He has promised us He will do?

The Psalmist wrote:
But I have calmed and quieted myself,    I am like a weaned child with its mother;    like a weaned child I am content. (Psalm 131:2)
Have you noticed (or experienced) the calm trust of a toddler? The Psalmist is reminding us of that scene; the child leans against the mother, content that he or she is secure. The trust shown there is the trust that we need to show when we are praying. We can be quiet and calm, because we know our Father will provide, care, and comfort us.

He has promised us that He will hear when we call.

If you have a request that you would like to share, and let us pray with you, won't you leave a comment today?

  1. Our daughter is facing the trials of going back to work in February, after having her daughter. It sounds like a long ways off, but when it comes to the wait list for child care, it’s a very long wait. She is looking for good, reliable child care. Please pray that she can find it. We’ll do some of it, but can’t mange all.
