One of my favorite hymns is "Just a Closer Walk with Thee." The author of this hymn is unknown, but it seems to have originated in the African American community as early as the 1800's.

Daily walking close to Thee,

I am weak, but Thou art strong,

To Thy kingdom's shore, to Thy shore.
Oh, I adore that song. It's so moving when you sing it and really pay attention and sing as unto the Lord!
