Amidst the pressures of life, seek Him.
To deal with the stresses of life, pursue Him.
Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. (Isaiah 55:6-7)
These beautiful thoughts were set to music by John Varley Roberts in this lovely anthem. I actually remember singing this in my youth when I filled in at times when the adult choir was short an alto or two. Please listen carefully and ponder reverently these words from Isaiah. I hope they will "stick" with us as we go about our daily lives.
Seek ye the Lord.....He will abundantly pardon.
