Prayer requests

Prayer is for all of us who believe that our God is personal, and want a personal relationship with Him. We know that prayer works, for we have encountered our Father God who wants us to talk to Him, and Who assures us He will listen.

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask
anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that
He hears us -- whatever we ask -- we know that we have what we
asked of Him.  (I John 5:14-15)

Through our prayers, especially with one another, we are demonstrating and validating the faith we have in Jesus. We also encourage one another to endure. All of us face obstacles, but by sharing and praying together, we often help others avoid hitting "rock bottom" in their spiritual lives.

Praying on behalf of our sisters and brothers in Christ also has the effect of unifying our hearts. It links us together spiritually. Jesus prayed for us to have unity, and Paul told us to "carry each other's burdens," too.

Won't you let us all know of any prayer request that you would like for us to pray about? Or a praise that you are joyfully sharing?

  1. I love that...unifying our hearts in prayer. And The Lord loves us to pray for one another!
