Prayer requests

I've heard from some of the followers of this study blog that there is a lot going on in their lives. Some of us are wrestling with health issues; some are dealing with bereavement; some are praying for God to move in the lives of their loved ones.

Personally, I'd like to thank all of you who supported our family in prayer as we have been working through our grief; it's a daily thing to pick up the pieces and keep moving forward, trusting God to comfort and to keep holding our hand as we walk. God has been so good to us -- I'm grateful for His love and His guidance, and how He works in the day to day happenings of our lives.

This verse has meant so much to me in the past few weeks:
The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. (Psalm 18:2)

I hope that if we can join you in prayer that you will leave a comment here and let us know the situation. God already knows; but He is honored and delighted when we come to Him with our requests.

Update us on changes in prayer requests -- let us know when praise is due for answered prayers. Let us offer thanksgiving to our Father for His lovingkindness and His mercy.

Let's pray.

  1. I pray that you and your family are coming through, Jacque. A sad time! Here we need prayer for family members who have turned away from the Lord. xx

  2. I am back from my cruise and have been enjoying catching up on the studies. There is a lot in these three women to learn about and so much of it to apply to our lives. I had a wonderful trip other than hurting my hip while swimming. I had to visit the ship doctor for a few days for some pain injections. I was worried about flying home because for four days I could hardly walk. It is still pretty sore. Making a doctors appointment and I think it is time to have some tests to see why I have so much trouble. The bed on the ship almost did me in. My son was on a cruise and said he could have brought the bed home.
My husband seems to be doing better. He got his new portable oxygen machine and loves it. He has an appointment with the orthopedic surgeon Monday and spring is almost here. All is good. Thanks again for praying for him. Now I could use a little prayer for my back.
    Take care.
