Once again, it is our privilege to join together in prayer for the needs of our Christian sisters and brothers, for our families, our friends, and others that we know of, who need the help of our Father.
We are admonished in the Word to make sure we are:
praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, Ephesians 6:18
We can make our requests, and we can offer praise:
What am I to do? I will pray with my spirit, but I will pray with my mind also; I will sing praise with my spirit, but I will sing with my mind also. I Corinthians 14:15
And we can claim precious promises:
Offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving, and perform your vows to the Most High, and call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.” Psalm 50:14-15
I am thankful for this study and for Jacque's dedication to leading us!!
ReplyDeletePlease pray for my daughter as she tries to find what works for getting my grandson to accept bedtime. He is having tantrums to keep from having to sleep in his own bed and room. We know this will pass, but in the meantime she is dragging around like a zombie and getting terribly irritated at him at a time when it should be restful.
