As for me, this snippet has meant a great deal to me in recent days:
Is there anything too hard for the Lord? Genesis 18:14Of course, this is in reference to God enabling Sarah, Abraham's wife, to conceive a son at a time when it was way past her time of being fertile.
And yet, God came through on His promise to them, just as He will come through for us today.

In last Sunday's Bible study, one of my favorite verses was involved in the passages we discussed.

I have to admit, I often take the Lord's sacrifice for granted, but Sunday it really sunk in deeply how much pain he took on my behalf. What a love!!! Going through all of that simply because of the Father's great love for us. And that reminds me of the words of a song....
"Amazing love, how could it be, that you my King would die for me?"
