Today is our usual pause for prayer time, and for sharing requests.
I need reminding myself sometimes, and so I thought I would remind all of us....we need to set aside time for prayer.
Quiet time.
Focused time.
Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed. Mark 1:35Time when we are truly listening for the voice of our Father.
After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray.Later that night, he was there alone, (Matthew 14:23)Let's determine to spend time with Him.
Won't you let us know if there is something we can pray about with you?
All of my concerns and what I think of as “needs” seem very puny these days, considering all of the devastation going on in people’s lives impacted by all the fires and all the floods and storms. Both here in Canada and in the States, fires are raging. Praying for all involved.... those who are displaced and those who are serving.
