Proverbs 15:3

The eyes of the Lord are in every place, watching the evil and the good.

I find this verse very soothing.

God Knows.

When you are wrongly judged:

God knows.

When you are lonely:

God knows.

When you are hurting:

God knows.

When someone else should be punished instead of you:

God knows.

Those two mighty words have gotten me through many a tough time, and they've kept me from being vengeful. Because that's God's job. Because...well, God knows!

As you are reading this I will be away and cannot respond to your comments.
Have a wonderful weekend!

  1. I think I'm probably known for always saying..."God is in control" and I try to remember that and take comfort in it always. What an awesome God we serve!!

  2. (Yes, I finally caught up again, lol)
This verse is really appropriate for this time of year. We reflect on our past year and for me, I do remember the wrongs that were done on to me and my response to that. It has not always been a good, turn the other cheek, kind of response. That is when I forgot that God Knows. I really like these two words. Very simple reminder of what I need to do to have a good response to things that hurt me. I must print it out as a visual reminder too :)
Have a great trip Tonya. You Deserve it and Need it!! Have fun!!

  4. Me too Carrie!! I'm not a worry-er by nature, but we all do from time to time. It's comforting to know I can give it to Him and know it will be taken care of. As far as God knowing all my sins,...well, that's not so comforting. Ha!!

  5. This reminds me of one of my favorite gospel songs...."I don't know what the future holds, but I know Who holds my hand." What a comforting thought to know that He knows and will help.
